A boy band who rose to fame after appearing on last year's series of the X Factor will be coming to Lowestoft.

5 After Midnight, who came third in the singing contest, will be performing a special set at Pontins Pakefield Holiday Park on October 27 as part of the holiday park's half-term break.

After gaining a dedicated fan-base through the show and finishing in third place, the trio made an impression on Simon Cowell and he signed them to his record label Syco Music. Other X Factor contestants signed to the label include the likes of Little Mix, James Arthur and Ella Henderson.

The event will allow fans to gain a preview for what is next in store for the band, who have just announced details of their EP, The Sauce, following the success of their first release 'Up In Here.'

Kieran Alleyne, from the band, said: 'We always wanted to put our fans first with all we were doing – so this is our gift to you. Let's just call it a clue of what's in store for everyone when the album is finished.'
