Budding firefighters will have the chance to go behind the scenes at an open day hosted by Wymondham Fire Station.
On Saturday, October 7, the station will open its doors to the public, giving a sneak peak at how the crew operates.
Amongst the privileged access attendees will get a chance to meet the Fire Cadets and view a number of demonstrations.
Attendees will get a first hand view of how firefighters tackle fires and daring rescues with a range of rescue demonstrations.
There is also a chance to meet the furry four-legged firefighters - the fire search and rescue dogs will be showing how they are able to save lives in a crisis.
There is a chance to get up close to fire appliances of old and new which will be on show at the open day.
Parking is free and food and drink is available.
