A popular brass band that has been playing to local audiences for nearly 100 years is set to host its latest charity concert.
Wrentham Band, which was formed in 1919, holds two special fundraising concerts every year, donating all the money to a charity of their choosing.
Having generated £700 for the East Anglia Children's Hospices' Nook Appeal earlier this year, the band will raise money for HeartCare during their November 14 concert at Lowestoft's Victoria Hotel.
Clin Godfrey, secretary of Wrentham Band, said: 'HeartCare works towards installing invaluable medical equipment in Great Yarmouth and Waveney.
'They freely install defibrillators in the community and provide support to people suffering from heart conditions.'
Mr Godfrey added: 'Ronnie and Rosie Carter have been the driving force behind our band since 1967 and have taken us to the next level over the years.'
Tickets for the event cost £3 and will be available on the door.
