Pupils in year three and four at Worlingham Primary School were visited by a family of cavemen and women this week, who taught them all about the Stone Age life style.

Through a series of workshops, the pre-historic visitors - actually role players from Will Lord - demonstrated a number of Stone Age customs, particularly focussing on how primitive humans would make use of animals for food, clothes and tools.

Children were also able to try out activities like scraping bones and softening skin with flint.

Wendy Jennings, year three class teacher, said: 'It was a fantastic day. The children were really in awe of the costumes and thoroughly enjoyed themselves, asking very interesting questions.'
