Work will begin next week to improve drainage along Norwich Road and Vicarage Road in Thetford.
The work, from outside number 1 to opposite number 20 Norwich Road, will begin on Monday and last three weeks, during which new kerbs and a carrier drain will be laid, new gulleys installed and the carriageway patched.
Traffic management will be three-way or four-way stop/go with the possibility of overnight two-way traffic signals in operation. Pedestrians will be signed to use the opposite footway.
Access will be maintained to properties and any businesses within the works, although delays should be expected.
