The 32-year-old woman who died after she was in a collision with a minibus was today named as Marina Heller.

Ms Heller, who lived in Holland, was involved in a collision with a black Renault Trafic minibus near the Norfolk Arena, on Saddlebow Road, on Saturday night. An inquest into her death is expected to be opened this afternoon.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident, which happened as thousands of motorsports fans were leaving the venue, after the BriSCA F1 Stock Car World Final.

In a statement on its website, event promoter Trackstar Racing said: 'Our sincerest condolences go to the family and friends of Dutch F1 Stock Car fan Marina Heller who was fatally injured in a road traffic accident which took place on Saddlebow Road following the F1 Stock Car World Final on Saturday night.

'Despite the best efforts of the stadium paramedics and first aid team together with county emergency services Marina could not be saved followibng the accident.

'Our thoughts and those of the entire BriSCA community are with everyone connected with Marina at this very difficult time.'

An online book of condolence has been opened.
