A woman was rescued by firefighters when a fire broke out in a kitchen in Harleston on Saturday night.
The drama unfolded when firefighters were called to the kitchen fire in Mendham Lane, Harleston, last night.
Three firecrews from Diss, Long Stratton and Harleston were called to the blaze at just before 7.45pm.
A fire service spokesman said a woman was rescued from the building before firefighters extinguished the blaze.
Firefighters used hose reel jets to put out the fire before using a fan to ventilate the smoke-logged property.
They had left the scene by 8.15pm.
