A woman was rushed to hospital this morning after the car she was travelling in crashed into an electricity pole.
The woman, believed to be in her 50s, suffered minor injuries following the incident near to Pump Cottage on the B1454 Heacham Road in Sedgeford, near Hunstanton, during the morning rush-hour.
Gary Sanderson, spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service, said paramedics were alerted to the crash, close to the Fring Road junction, at 8.18am and treated the woman at the scene.
She was then taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, Mr Sanderson added.
The road was closed in both directions for a number of hours after this morning's crash because of fallen power cables.
