Woman in 30s robbed of money after being approached by man on the outskirts of Dereham

Police are investigating after a man stole cash from a woman in a robbery on the outskirts of Dereham.

The woman, who is in her 30s, was approached by the man who demanded money.

She handed an envelope of cash to the suspect, who has then made off.

It happened at around 9am in Masefield Mews.

The man is described as being white, around 6ft 1 tall, of a thin build, with dark facial hair and wearing dark baggy jeans, a dark coloured top with the hood up and dark coloured trainers.
