Woman hurt in Stalham bypass crash

A woman pedestrian suffered serious head injuries in a crash which blocked the Stalham bypass this afternoon.

The woman believed to be in her 60s was hurt in a collision with a Vauxhall Astra car the the turning to the boatyards around 2.30pm.

She was taken to Addenbrooke's hospital in Cambridge with head and other injuries. The road was closed for most of the afternoon with traffic being diverted through Stalham town centre which became congested.
