A woman was taken to hospital after a three-car collision near Long Stratton.
It happened on the A140 Norwich Road just north of the village, before the Hempnall crossroads, at around 8.26am (Tuesday, November 29).
Firefighters saved the woman, believed to be in her 30s, from the wreckage of one of the cars using hydraulic rescue equipment.
A spokesman from the East of England Ambulance Service said: 'We dispatched an ambulance that was on the scene within six minutes and treated a woman, believed to be in her 30s.
'She was conscious and breathing and treated for shock-related symptoms and then taken to the N and N (Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital) for further treatment in what is believed to be a stable condition.'
The crash involved a Vauxhall Tigra, Volkswagen Polo, and an Audi A3.
Police closed the road until 10.18am after the accident, as two of the cars needed to be recovered.
The fire crews which attended came from Long Stratton and Carrow stations.
