Emergency services were called at about 1pm on Thursday after a black Ford Fiesta collided with the fence, in Caxton Way, near to the Tulip meat processing plant.
The local woman died later at the West Suffolk Hospital at Bury St Edmunds.
Norfolk Police is appealing for any witnesses to the crash to contact PC Shane Schucroft at Attleborough road policing unit on 0845 456 4567.
