Police are seeking witnesses after an attempted burglary in south Lowestoft.

A home on Waters Avenue, Carlton Colville was targeted just after 8pm on Sunday, December 11.

A police spokesman said: 'A man attempted entry into the garage at the property but left empty handed. It is thought he may have been disturbed at seeing a light on and music playing inside the garage.'

The suspect is described as being about 5ft 8ins tall and was wearing a beanie-style hat, short jacket and tracksuit bottoms with white writing to the lower part of the legs.

Witnesses should call the Lowestoft Neighbourhood Response Team on 101, quoting reference: 71079/16.
