Push bikes have been stolen from outside a flat and from a main street on the east coast.
Police officers are appealing for witnesses after a mountain bike was stolen from the bike racks at the front of the Marina Centre on Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth, between 6pm and 10pm on December 3. The bike, described as a black and yellow Harlem Supreme, was secured by two chains at the front and rear.
Days earlier, a tandem bicycle was stolen from a side yard next to a flat in Southtown Road, Cobholm. The tandem, described as a dark green 'Viking' Serengeti with disc brakes, went missing between 9.30pm on November 29 and 8.45am November 30. It had two horn handlebars, brown seats, two bottle holders and two front and rear lights.
Anyone who witnessed the thefts or has information on the whereabouts of the bikes is asked to call the North Yarmouth or Cobholm Safer Neighbourhood Teams on 101. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Police can also issue advice on how to secure bikes and deter opportunist thieves.
