A missing five-year-old boy on Cromer beach sparked a major search operation this afternoon.
RNLI lifeguards, Cromer and Sheringham coastguard teams and the Cromer inshore lifeboat were all involved in the hunt which got underway shortly after 4pm.
The boy was found by lifeguards at about 4.30pm and was reunited with his relieved family.
He had walked quite a distance along the beach towards Overstrand.
