The consultation is taking place on December 1 3.00pm-7.30pm, December 2 3.00pm-6.00pm and December 3 10.00am-2.00pm at Unit 86 on Magdalen Street, opposite Roys.

Earlier this month ambitious plans for the area were unveiled including demolishing the shopping complex and more than a thousand homes above new shops and restaurants.

Redevelopment plans submitted to the council include:

The demolition of the current Anglia Square, the former stationery office Sovereign House and Gildengate House

More than a thousand homes, to be built above new shop units and a new public square

A new multi-storey car park

The replacement of the existing cinema with a new one at ground level

Better links across the site, to open up entry to the complex from other directions

Weston Homes and Columbia Threadneedle are the developers for the project.
