An MP has been given a virtual ride to the heavens and back after he visited a US military base.
RAF Lakenheath hosted Matthew Hancock, MP for West Suffolk, on Friday, with the Brandon MP being given a chance to sample a flight in an F-15E fighter jet in the base's simulator.
Mr Hancock was also given a tour of the base and had the chance to meet aircrew from the 492nd Fighter Squadron.
A spokesman for USAF said visits from key members of the local community, such as Mr Hancock, helped foster relations.
