Wells lifeboat was called out twice today to the Sheringham Shoal wind farm to transport workers to the mainland for medical attention.

The crew were first alerted at around 11am to transport two men suffering from tooth problems back to the shore.

The inshore lifeboat was launched from the boat house to take the men, one of whom had an abscess and the other who had broken a tooth.

They were called again at 1.40pm to pick up a 20-year-old female worker who was suffering from an eye injury and needed hospital attention. The crew transported her back using their recovery vehicle and the lifeboat.

? Yarmouth Coastguard has also been alerted this afternoon to the body of a dead whale that has been spotted five miles east of Skegness. The 12 metre long mammal has not been identified but is said to be a 'hazard' and could move into Norfolk waters.

If any boats spot the black and grey coloured whale crew members are asked to call the Coastguard.
