Engineering works will again mean disruption to several One Railway services this weekend. The main alterations are as follows:
t London Liverpool Street to Shenfield / Southminster / Southend Victoria.
SATURDAY:
Liverpool Street to Shenfield services will only operate between Liverpool Street and Gidea Park. Passengers for Shenfield are advised to travel on Southend Services from London Liverpool Street.
Liverpool Street to Southend Victoria services will make additional calls at Romford, Gidea Park, Harold Wood and Brentwood with minor retimings.
There will be a shuttle train service in operation between Wickford and Southminster
SUNDAY:
From the start of service until 1pm all services to Shenfield / Southminster / Southend Victoria will start/terminate at Stratford connecting into/out of London Underground Central Line services between Liverpool Street and Stratford.
Buses will replace the first few services between Liverpool Street and Stratford before the Underground service commences.
t London Liverpool Street to Chelmsford / Colchester / Clacton / Ipswich / Norwich.
SATURDAY: Train services between London and Chelmsford will be replaced by buses between Shenfield and Chelmsford and operate to a revised timetable between Liverpool Street and Shenfield. Connecting trains will run between Chelmsford and Colchester / Clacton / Ipswich.
SUNDAY: from the start of service and until 1pm buses will operate on mainline services from Liverpool Street to Chelmsford. Buses will also operate between Shenfield and Chelmsford (via Ingatestone).
From 1pm onwards mainline services between Liverpool Street and Chelmsford will be replaced by buses between Chelmsford and Shenfield, connecting to a shuttle train service between Liverpool Street and Shenfield.
Mainline Intercity services between London and Colchester / Ipswich / Norwich will be replaced by buses between Liverpool Street and Colchester throughout the weekend.
Shuttle train services will operate on the Braintree (between Witham and Braintree) and Harwich (between Manningtree and Harwich) branches throughout the weekend.
t London Liverpool Street to Harwich International.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY: Liverpool Street to Harwich International boat services will be replaced by buses throughout the weekend.
t Cambridge to Norwich.
SUNDAY: Due to engineering work taking place on the Cambridge to Norwich route, services will include a bus replacement service between Thetford and Norwich throughout the day.
t Liverpool Street / Stratford to Stansted Airport / Cambridge.
SUNDAY: From the start of the service until 1pm, Liverpool Street to Cambridge / Stansted Airport services will start / terminate at Tottenem Hale instead of Liverpool Street.
Also during this period a bus service will operate between Cheshunt and Stansted Airport. There will be a train service operating between Stansted Airport and Cambridge.
Stansted Express services will be operated by a direct bus service from Liverpool Street.
In addition to the weekend engineering works there will also be changes to the following services:
t Liverpool Street to Cambridge - late night services Monday, September 3 until Thursday.
From 11.40pm, due to engineering work, buses will replace trains between Bishop Stortford and Cambridge.
