Despite many businesses closing and events across the county being cancelled, Redwell Brewing have confirmed their Brewery Tap launch will be going ahead.

The company are reopening their brewery tap at The Arches in Bracondale, this weekend, between 5pm and 9pm on Friday, March 2 and from midday to 9pm on Saturday, March 3.

The brewery have teamed up with Brick Pizza for the occasion, however bad weather has meant a slight change had to be made to the menu.

Instead of pizzas, chefs will be whipping up chilli and vegan chilli with sourdough bread from Bread Source.

This is due to as Brick’s cheese supplier being unable to travel because of the snow. They also said current temperatures were too low to make the dough.

A spokesman for Redwell Brewing said: “No beast from the East is holding us back! We’re cracking on with our launch tonight - it’s too freezing cold for outside catering so Brick Pizza will be inside with us in the warm serving up some meat chilli and a vegan chilli, we’ve got the beer, wine, gin and good vibes, just bring yourselves.”
