Police have seen a spike in crashes on Norfolk's roads after freezing temperatures hit the county.
By 11.45am Tuesday they had been called to a total of 48 road related incidents in Norfolk on Tuesday, 16 of which saw people injured.
A spokesperson for the force stated that although not all of them were weather related, they had seen a spike due to the icy conditions.

There were also long delays in Norwich after a two-vehicle crash on Drayton Road at the junction with Drayton Wood Road blocked the carriageway.
Officers were also called to crashes on the A47 between Easton and Longwater, the B1108 at Kimberley, the A149 at North Walsham, Vulcan Road in Norwich, Heath Road in Hockering, Bunwell Road in Spooner Row, Hargham Road in Old Buckenham and on the A47 at Harford Bridge.
The freezing conditions also caused disruption on the trains and forced Norwich Airport to close for a period of time.
The disruption came after a night of freezing conditions which saw temperatures dip to -2.4C at Santon Downham and -1.7C in Marham. The average for this time of year is 8C.
Coastal areas including Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft and between Cromer and Mundesley also experienced thunder and lightning because of the wintery weather conditions.

The Met Office has now issued a fresh weather warning for ice which is in place from 4pm on Tuesday until 11am on Wednesday.
The warning states: 'There will probably be icy stretches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths with some injuries possible from slips and falls.'
