While the Beast from the East has caused chaos for many, others have been out enjoying the snow.
From snowboarding to sledding, it's all been happening across Norfolk.
Several other adults have dedicated the day to proving they can have just as much fun with the weather as children can.
Jenny Yaxley and her family spent the day building another impressive igloo, this time in Salhouse. Her husband, Tim, and their three children - Sophie, eight, Ray, six, and Honey, two, then decided to have their dinner inside their new igloo.
Mrs Yaxley said: 'Such determination from the children, they wouldn't give up until it was done.
'They then asked for their tea in there. I couldn't say no! It was the best chilli ever in an igloo!'
Meanwhile, Jack Joyce, 27, spent the day constructing an igloo in Jenny Lind Park, Norwich, along with friends and members of his family.
Passers by were captivated by the igloo, stopping to watch him work and tweeting pictures of his progress to this paper.

Also enjoying the snow was Megan Aitken, a fine artist from Norwich, who had a great time building a snow bear.
The 26-year-old said: 'When I woke up and saw the snow, my childish side came out and I thought what better way to spend my day! I built a polar bear which took me about three hours by which time, I was almost frozen so had to stop.
'I think it is important for adults to remember how to be young and play outside once in a while. It definitely keeps me feeling youthful which makes life more fun!'
