A team of five, including a father and his two sons, will appear on the popular BBC2 quiz show Eggheads, hosted by Jeremy Vine.
The team consisting of Peter Harvey, 56, Brian Cooper, 59, Simon Cooper, 31, Chris Cooper, 29 and David Hobbs, 60, all from Thetford, will feature in the episode of the quiz programme aired tonight (Monday, April 24) at 6pm.
As fans of the BBC sitcom filmed in Norfolk, the five from Thetford chose the Dad's Army sitcom as their specialist subject and show's famous phrase 'We're Doomed!' as their team name.
The team attended filming in Glasgow, where they got the chance to meet the Eggheads and Jeremy Vine.
Mr Harvey said: 'It was a enjoyable and bizarre experience, surprisingly we weren't nervous.'
Since his debut television appearance, the retired accountant now hopes to appear on the ITV quiz show Tipping Point.
