And from Tuesday, April 18 2017, the school will welcome new headteacher Helen Kemp.

The school received an 'inadequate' Ofsted rating in 2016 and a spokesman for the Corvus Education Trust said through Mrs Kemp encouraging 'the fostering of positive attitudes' it is hoped the school will be achieve a rating of good or better.

The spokesman added: 'The school has a wonderful new building and extensive grounds which provide fantastic inside and outside learning spaces and experiences for the children. This is an exciting time for Watton Westfield and she is extremely happy to be leading it.'
