Footage has captured the moment a man ripped down a Norwich City billboard put up near Ipswich Town's ground.

The sign, showing the club's new home kit, had been put up at Ranelagh Road in Ipswich, near the town's train station and a few minutes walk from Portman Road.

The billboard shows players with fans with the slogan Battle Ready in the bottom left corner, and details on where to get hold of the strip.

But it did not go down well with one man, who tried to rip down the advertisement.

Norwich City has since confirmed the billboard had been put up in error.

A spokesperson said: 'Norwich City recently launched the Battle Ready campaign to promote our new replica kits across East Anglia.

'However the appearance of the advert on a billboard in Ipswich was an error by the company who supply this service to us and we've asked them to remove it.

'As always, we look forward to the next East Anglian derbies with excitement and in the right spirit.'
