Families and staff from a disability education and day service will lead a free charity walk on Friday, June 30 to help raise awareness of people with disabilities in the community.
The Dereham Resource Centre is organising the walk as part of an initiative by national disability charity Sense. Hundreds of people across England and Wales will be taking to the streets for Deafblind Awareness Week (June 24-30).
The walk will begin at 10.30am from Morrisons car park in Dereham and move through the town.
Education services manager Tessa Wallis said: 'This is a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of the people in the local area with disabilities and we're hoping that as many people as possible will join us on the day.'
