Volunteers are needed for a project aiming to bring to life the famous letters of a Norfolk family who rose from peasantry to aristocracy.
The Paston Footprints Project, founded by the University of East Anglia (UEA) and Paston Heritage Society, will tell the story of the remarkable Paston family over the next two years.
Their recently discovered letters reveal what life might have been life for the family and Norfolk residents in the 15th century.
The project hopes to link information in the letters with ten Norfolk communities: Paston, Bacton, North Walsham, Gresham and Mannington, Oxnead, Blofield, Caister and Mautby, Hellesdon, Dereham and Norwich. It aims to promote the story through leaflets and information boards, as well as the creations of trails, and organising events.
