Norfolk animal sanctuary PACT is running a ‘virtual’ animal show to keep people who love their pets entertained during the lockdown.
The sanctuary, which is based in Woodrising, near Hingham, is also running the contest as a fundraiser, as the charity shops it relies on in Dereham, Norwich and other locations have had to close while the lockdown continues.
There are 25 classes including Sleeping Beauty, Best Golden Oldie, Cuddliest, Longest Tail, Odd Couple, Best Knitted Animal, Sassiest Animal and more.
Pictures of your pets can be emailed to competition@pactsanctuary.org - don’t forget to say which class you’re entering.
Each entry costs £2, payable by PayPal on their website, by card when phoning 01362 820775, or by sending in a photo and cheque by post. Entries close May 31. Visit www.pactsanctuary.org/blog/the-lockdown-animal-show.html for more.
Donations to PACT’s Covid-19 appeal can also be made online at gofundme.com, search for PACT.
