A lifelong Norwich City fan - who attended matches her whole life until old age prevented it - was given the VIP treatment at Saturday's match against Blackburn Rovers.

Madge Fox, from Hethersett. has been a loyal supporter of Norwich city ever since she was a little girl and attending matches regularly, but over the years she has only been able to watch them on TV, as her ability to attend matches independently has gone.

But on Saturday she was picked up by Allicare team leader Jacky Hill, with no idea where she was going.

On arrival Mrs Fox was treated like royalty and made to feel very welcome with complimentary champagne in the legends lounge and a three-course meal.

Bryan Gunn addressed the diners as their guest speaker and announced Mrs Fox's 90th birthday, and thanked her for being such a devoted and loyal supporter of the club.
