HALESWORTH Town Team are to hold their first meeting since their bid to be a Portas Pilot Town was made.
The group is hoping to benefit from 100,000 and advice from Mary Portas after submitting their bid to the government-backed scheme.
But they are not waiting to see if they will be selected before putting some of their plans into action.
Laura Churchill, of shop Bluebird Vintage, who is helping to drive Halesworth Town Centre Group's bid, said that they wanted to do what they could before they find out if they will be awarded the money.
People who want to help are invited to the meeting, which will be held at the town library at 5.30pm on Wednesday.
