A charity supporting families after the death of a child has produced a new short film to highlight the problems faced by parents and siblings.
The Compassionate Friends (TCF) has produced the film as part of its campaign Say Their Name, which has been running since the beginning of December and throughout the festive season.
The film, of the same name, highlights the problems families face after losing a child, whatever their age, and the help they have received from the charity.
Shaun Hewitt, TCF trustee, said: 'The conflict between pressure to celebrate and the pain of missing someone so special can be unbearable.'
Jane Harris and Jimmy Edmonds, bereaved parents and producers, added: 'By meeting and talking with other bereaved parents through The Compassionate Friends we found understanding, support and the strength to carry on.'
