The eastbound carriageway of the A47 near Norwich was closed for more than an hour this lunchtime after a van caught fire.
The incident happened on the fly-over above the A11 roundabout at Cringleford at about 1.30pm on Sunday. Two fire crews from Norwich put out the flames which left a thick pall of smoke above the carriageway.
Eastbound traffic was diverted off the carriageway and over the roundabout while fire crews made the scene safe.
