Van crashes into electricity cables in Caister

A van has crashed into a pole carrying overhead electricity cables in Caister.

The vehicle hit the pylon in Springdale, John Road at around 9.20am this morning.

A fire crew from Great Yarmouth were on the scene at 9.21am.

UK Power Networks engineers are on their way to the scene, following reports that a van has hit a pole carrying overhead electricity cables.

Engineers are expected to complete repairs to the pole tomorrow and the utility company believe no power supplies were affected.
