A woman of 57 was airlifted to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital this morning after suffering a life-threatening cardiac arrest in West Beckham, near Holt.

The East Anglian Air Ambulance crew gave her advanced life support in Sheringham Road before flying her to the coronary care unit.

A man with life-threatening chest pains was among three other people in north Norfolk flown by air ambulance to the hospital on Boxing Day.

The helicopter landed in a field at Wood Dalling, to help the 67-year-old. Its medical crew gave him pain relief before airlifting him.

A woman aged 70 who fell and hurt herself on Sheringham beach was flown to the hospital with hip and knee injuries. And the crew later landed on Mundesley Road, Overstrand, to help a 78-year-old man who had fallen and hurt a hip. Both were said to be in a stable condition.
