Update: Two taken to hospital after three-car crash on A140 at Hanworth, near Cromer

Two people have been taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital with minor injuries after a three-car crash on the A140 at Hanworth, near Cromer, this afternoon.

Police are still at the scene and the A140 remains closed in both directions near the scene of the accident, which happened at about 1.30pm.

Fire crews from Cromer and Aylsham attended and helped release an elderly man from one car and a female passenger from another.

A male driver in the car with the female, and man and child in a third car involved in the incident, were not hurt.

Three ambulance crews and an ambulance officer attended.
