One of Norfolk's most popular pubs has closed today.
The Green Man in Wroxham Road, Rackheath was once a 17th century coaching inn and has long since been a formidable landmark on the Wroxham Road between Norwich and the Broads in Wroxham and Hoveton.
But landlord Iestyn Thomas said today that he was losing money and had to cease trading.
Last year, The Evening News paid tribute to Derek Jennings who died aged 58. Mr Jennings lived in Wroxham and had been the owner of the Green Man pub for about 15 years. He was in the process of selling the leasehold at the pub when he died at home surrounded by his family on May 18 last year.
