A section of the A1065 at Hilborough, south of Swaffham that had to be shut earlier today after a tanker overturned has now re-opened.
The lorry spilled its load of liquid fertilizer just before 10.30am this morning and the road was shut between Pound Hill and the junction with the B1108.
Traffic had been diverted through Watton while the clean-up took place but the road was open again by 9pm this evening.
The lorry driver suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to West Suffolk Hospital with cuts to his head and a suspected broken shoulder.
Fire crews from Swaffham and Watton were joined by the chemical incident unit from Sprowston and the technical rescue unit from King's Lynn to clear up the scene.
