An elderly man was hospitalised after a mobility scooter fire in the early hours of yesterday morning, and now police are investigating.
Emergency services were called to the fire at a bungalow on Midland Close just before 2am on Tuesday, January 10.
An elderly man was taken to the James Paget Hospital, though his injuries were not serious.
Officers are making inquiries to establish how the fire started.
