It could be you - that was the message from bosses of the National Lottery after they revealed last night that a jackpot prize of almost £1m has yet to be claimed in the King's Lynn area.

The search is on to find the owner of the winning ticket for a jackpot of £962,302 which was bought in the King's Lynn area. The mystery winner has matched all six numbers in the Lotto draw on Saturday October 20 which were 4, 15, 25, 27, 33 and 40.

A spokesperson for the National Lottery, said: “We're desperate to find the mystery ticket-holder and unite them with their winnings, this is amazing prize could really make a difference to somebody's life.

“Try checking in the pockets of clothing, in wallets, bags and down the back of the sofa, someone could literally be sitting on a fortune.”

The lucky ticket-holder has until 5.30pm on Thursday April 17 to come forward and make their claim.

King's Lynn has proved to be a lucky area for lottery winners, earlier this year four roadmen each won a share of a £4m win after their numbers came up.

They had kept the winning ticket crumpled up in the ashtray of their trusty Transit.
