Police are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in Dereham yesterday (Tuesday, December 6).
Two men wearing masks confronted the male occupant of a property in Metamec Drive between 4.20pm and 4.30pm.
The suspects, who were carrying what is believed to have been a metal bar and a knife, tried to force their way into the address but they were unsuccessful and made off from the scene.
The male occupant received minor injuries during the altercation.
The first suspect is described as white, with blonde hair, wearing a white ski mask and a grey tracksuit.
The second suspect is described as wearing a white ski mask and a blue hooded top.
Anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone with information, should contact DC Rachel Elliott at Thetford CID on 101.
