Two people died after a car collided with a coach on the outskirts of Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
The accident happened at about 3.40pm on the B1150 North Walsham Road at Crostwick when the red Toyota MR2 was in collision with the coach near the junction with Common Loke.
Fire crews from Sprowston, Earlham and Wroxham were called to use hydraulic rescue equipment to cut the casualties free from the wreckage.
Two ambulances, the air ambulance and a rapid response vehicle were also sent.
One patient died at the scene, another casualty was rushed to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital but later died. A man on the coach also received minor injuries.
Six other people were treated and assessed at a nearby nursing home and two later attended the N&N for treatment.
Police are anxious to hear from anyone who was being overtaken by the MR2 at the time of the accident.
