A mother has said she will not be driven from her home after a burglary in the middle of the night.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, said she saw the thieves driving off and described the incident as being 'horrendous'.

Two cars, a black Audi A5 and a blue Ford Focus ST were stolen from outside a home in El Alamein Way, Bradwell last Friday morning (July 22) at around 3am.

It is believed that someone gained entry to the house through the conservatory and bank cards, cash, a Samsung Galaxy phone, and purse was also stolen.

The two cars have now been recovered thanks to a post on Facebook was circulated and people in the community helped track down the vehicles.

The other items have not yet been recovered.
