A main road into Swaffham is blocked in both directions after a two-car crash this afternoon.
The accident happened just after 4.15pm on the Norwich Road, near McDonald's roundabout on the A47.
A Norfolk fire service spokesman said two cars were involved and one person was trapped.
He added that firefighters from Swaffham, Watton and Great Massingham were using hydraulic rescue equipment to release the casualty.
Police officers and paramedics have also been called to the scene.
