Two boys aged nine and 11 have gone missing from a holiday camp in the Thetford area.

A Norfolk police spokeswoman said the boys were on a camping holiday with their carers on the Thorpe Woodlands Camp Site at Shadwell, near Thetford, when it was noticed they were missing at 6am today.

Their disappearance is understood to be out of character and police are concerned for their safety.

Adam, aged 11, is described as white, 4ft 10in tall, with short brown hair and blue eyes.

It is thought he is wearing a cream Umbro top, beige trousers and possibly white Velcro trainers and carrying a backpack.

Callum, aged nine, is also white, 4ft tall with a petite frame, with short mousey hair. He wears glasses and is thought to be wearing a camouflage fleece with navy jogging bottoms and red and grey trainers.

Anyone who has seen boys fitting these descriptions or any youngsters seen on their own in the area this morning is asked to contact Norfolk Constabulary on 999.
