Two people have been arrested and bailed after £500 worth of food, drink and clothing was stolen from Waitrose in Wymondham.

It happened on Tuesday, August 27, at the Norwich Road store. Offenders fled the scene in a Vauxhall Zafira, which has since been recovered by police.

Further enquiries led officers to attend an address in Three Score, Bowthorpe, on Monday where a 37-year-old woman and 42-year-old man were arrested in connection with the incident.
