A long-established firm of chartered surveyors and auctioneers has expanded with the opening of a new town centre base in Wymondham.

TW Gaze, which has been operating across East Anglia since 1857, opened a new office at the former Fred Standley and Sons shop in Market Street on Monday.

The firm, which is based in Diss, will specialise in providing property services across agricultural, residential, commercial and licensed trade sectors. It will also promote TW Gaze's auction rooms while offering an expert valuation service for antiques and collectibles.

As a result of the new branch, the company has made three new appointments.

Chartered surveyor and rural partner Rachael Hipperson, who will be heading up the new venture, said: 'Our Wymondham office brings an exciting addition to our existing premises in Diss and being the only chartered surveyors in the town will be a real strength for us.'

'We already have many established clients in the area and a Wymondham office will enable us to service their needs even better and attract new clients.'

Also at the Wymondham office will be senior valuer Graeme Taplin and chartered surveyor and valuer Lisa Scrivener.
