Three members of the Heritage Will Writers team will each be braving a tandem skydive at Beccles Airfield on Saturday to raise funds for the charity Nelson's Journey.
IT consultant Hayleigh Thornhill, call centre manager Alan Tooth and admin assistant Kyle McCallum will be jumping from 13,000 feet and freefalling at 120 mph before their parachute opens, and to date they have more than £1,100 pledged between them for the Norfolk-based charity which supports young people who have experienced the death of a significant person.
Heritage Will Writers is one of 20 businesses in the NJ Twenty20 scheme, with each business committed to raising at least £1,000 each to help celebrate the 20th year of Nelson's Journey.
Kathy Long, managing director of Heritage Will Writers, said 'We are so proud of Hayleigh, Alan and Kyle for doing such a brave thing for Nelson's Journey. We are blessed to have individuals who are always looking for opportunities to fundraise for charities, and as a company we are keen to support this with an in-house charity team.'
She added: 'I am lucky enough to have been shown around Nelson's Journeys' Smiles House recently and get a real understanding of the fantastic work that they do to support bereaved children. That is why we are committed to raise as much as we can for Nelson's Journey to help them celebrate their 20th birthday.'
Established in 2001, Heritage Will Writers is East Anglia and the South East's leading dedicated will writing service, serving tens of thousands of clients. In addition to writing wills, the team offers a full probate service, secure document storage, and can help with trust enquiries, powers of attorney and property ownership changes.
Sophie Berry, Nelson's Journey funding and marketing manager said: 'Heritage Will Writers have really embraced the challenge to raise funds in our 20th year. A skydive is not for the faint hearted and we hope that those taking part will remember the experience for years to come.'
