A travel agency has offered youngsters a chance to train while on the job after launching an apprenticeship scheme.
Fred Olsen Travel has introduced five apprentices to its Ipswich head office and branch network, which includes a in-store team at Jarrolds in Norwich.
Apprentices have an opportunity to work as part of a team and gain an understanding of the varied roles at the group, such as the design and marketing, selling travel products or being responsible for administration.
Managing director Steve Williams said: 'I am delighted that we have introduced an apprenticeship training scheme, with five apprentices this year. This reflects our continued growth and investment in our future. The apprenticeship scheme is a great opportunity to gain industry knowledge, working alongside our experienced employees, whilst working towards a nationally recognised qualification.'
