Greater Anglia have confirmed that trains on the Norwich to Cambridge line are now returning to normal after a discovery of a wartime bomb at Cambridge station caused disruption this morning.
Services from Norwich were being terminated at Ely whilst police assessed the bomb.
Police were called to the station at 8.47am after reports of a wartime bomb discovered during construction work.
The station was evacuated with trains into the station halted.
Cambridgeshire Police have now confirmed the station is reopen and services are resuming,
But Greater Anglia has warned there may be small delays on services until lunchtime.
