A number of train services on the Norwich to London mainline have been cancelled or altered for the rest of the week due to a major track fault.

A crack was identified during an inspection on the approach to Liverpool Street station at the weekend and, owing to the size of the crack, the part cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced. It means trains are unable to access two platforms.

Due to track fault a number of services to and from Norwich and London Liverpool Street have been cancelled or amended for the rest of this week, up to and including Friday June 15:

The affected train services are;

• 6am Norwich to Liverpool Street terminates at Colchester
